Description:
Taking their readers behind the military's veil of secrecy, Dru and Debra
release—for the first time—two declassified government photographs taken
shortly after the Eldridge had conducted a disastrous experiment.
Someone once said, "a picture is worth a
thousand words." In the case of these two 12
September 1943 official photographs, this quote is utterly an
understatement. Something very tragic happened on this fateful day.
Providing all the tools
necessary to substantiate their conclusions, Dru and Debra also take their
readers aboard the Eldridge pointing out activities that are
anything but normal. They prove that, there was truly
indeed a fire, including a conspiracy by senior U.S. Navy officers to
cover up this tragic incident. Though intentionally covered up by
the Navy, their
evidence is irrefutable.
Pleading for lifesaving assistance, the Eldridge's Commanding
Officer informs the pilots of the airplanes taking these photographs that,
the Eldridge is on fire. Carrying hazardous cargo, he also
warns the pilots they're running into danger;

instructing them to stay completely clear of his ship. This fire
appears to have struck so suddenly and was so intense that it was
dreadfully dangerous. Taking the crew by complete surprise, over 100
men had sustained injuries with many of them ending up being serious
casualties.

Photographs of the USS Eldridge
(DE-173).
Taken
on 12 September 1943 by the U.S. Navy, these photographs reveal the
Eldridge's crew had just concluded a devastating
experiment.
